Authorities are investigating a hotel robbery, reportedly involving a person the victim met online.
Police were called to the Drake Motel, located on Reading Road around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday.
According to investigators, a customer was robbed by someone who he had met over the Internet. The suspect reportedly held the victim at knifepoint and used duct tape to secure him to a chair, before stealing his wallet, cell phone and 2004 Acura.
The victim was not injured during the incident.
The suspect remains on the loose. The victim's car is described as a red Acura RSX, with the Ohio plate FLN4615.
