WBTV stopped by the house where the arrests
happened. An elderly lady ,who wouldn't give us her name, told us she owned the
house and told us we had bad information.
"Whoever gave you that information," the
woman said. "Tell them to get right next time."
We also asked her about police raiding her house.
"I don't know how," she said. "I've
been right here, so that's all I got to say."
Police say this is the first dog fighting ring
discovered this year in Charlotte, but they believe more could be happening.
Police are now being told what to look for when on patrol so they can be on the
lookout for more possible dog fighting operations.
