Family Escapes Apartment Fire

Cam Man Ron Lee will join us live from Kannapolis...where a family of five was able to escape an apartment fire.  Firefighters are on the scene this morning.  Ron will have complete details on what happened.

A man wanted for a murder in south Charlotte, has been arrested almost two-thousand miles away in Arizona.  42-year-old Christopher Huffman is accused of killing Charles Middleton on Elmhurst Road on Friday.

A Cleveland County man, found guilty of raping and murdering a 79-year-old Shelby woman...will be sentenced today.  A jury convicted Donald Borders in the death of Margaret Tessneer.

Police in Charlotte now say a 12-year-old girl was never sexually assaulted and kidnapped, as her family claimed.
