For the 4th time this season, Johnson C. Smith guard Trevin Parks has been named the CIAA Player of the Week.
In 2 games last week, he came up with back to back 30 point games (31 against St. Augustine's and 34 against Livingstone). Parks hit 8 three pointers and shot 48% from the field.
Parks is currently leading the CIAA in scoring at 25.7 points per game and is tied with Belmont-Abbey's Tyshawn Good as the nations leading scorer at 25.7.
JCSU is currently 13-6 overall, 6-3 in conference play, and 2-1 in Southern Division play in the CIAA.
JC Smith returns back to the court on Wednesday as they host divisional rival Winston-Salem State at 7:30.
