Editors Note: Due to the age of the victim and nature of the crime, the name and picture have been omitted.

The young girl who went missing on Thursday was found Saturday after being spotted in a Burger King by a security officer.

The officer spotted a girl, matching the victim's description, at the restaurant in uptown near the Transit Center.

He approached the girl and asked if she was in fact the missing girl. He then contacted Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

The family was notified by CMPD.

WBTV has learned that the victim was in fact abducted, driven around for hours and then held at a hotel by multiple suspects who grabbed her on Thursday afternoon near her home.

Police are continuing to talk with the family and victim to gather more information and collect evidence.
