Here's a brief look at just some of the stories you'll see today.

The first thing you need to know this morning...bundle up!  Another cold start to the day!  We're starting the day in the lower 30s and will drop down into the 20s later tonight!  And we're keeping a close eye out on a wintry mix that could be headed our way tomorrow.  We'll have your complete First Alert Weather forecast.

Cam Man Ron Lee will join us live...with the story of a Mooresville man who's been arrested in an internet sex sting.  He's being held in a jail in Florida.  Officers, posing as underage children...chatted with men online...and got them to visit a house where they were arrested.

A Huntersville man is in jail, after admitting to severely abusing his twin children...now one of them is dead.

A debate at the state capitol in Raleigh has people talking.  The question: Should people on welfare or in bankruptcy be allowed to buy lottery tickets?  A bill on the floor of the statehouse calls for a ban.

Later today, we're expected to learn about a new movement to combat obesity in North Carolina.  Astrid Martinez will be live with the all new story for the morning show.

The New Orleans Hornets are going to make an announcement later today...which some believe could lead to the Charlotte Bobcats changing their name back to the Charlotte Hornets.

And speaking of the Bobcats...they were at home last night taking on the Atlanta Hawks.  We'll have highlights.  Plus...a HUGE upset in college basketball last night as the number one team in the nation goes down!  Yep...the Duke Blue Devils were taken to the wood shed...and wait until you see how it happened!

Plus...you know the old saying, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away".  Well now...it may also chase the blues away.

All those stories and so much more...when you join us from 4:30 to 7:00 this morning.  Hope to see you then!
