On January 23, 2013 at approximately 11:22 AM, the Kings Mountain Police were dispatched to Kings Food Mart located on Walker Street at Waco Road due to a report of a robbery which had just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a representative of Fox Distributing Company, who advised he was making a delivery to the convenience store when an unidentified black male approached him and demanded money.
The robber was provided an undisclosed amount of money and left the area on foot towards Cansler Street.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 150 pounds. This individual was said to have been wearing dark in color clothing to include a dark hooded jacket. The jacket was described as having fur around the brim portion of the hooded area.
