A man robbed a local sub shop at gun point after being denied access to the bathroom, according to a report from the Monroe Police Department.
The robbery happened Monday, January 21, at the Jersey Mike's Sub on West Roosevelt Boulevard in Monroe.
Police said a teenager walked into the restaurant and asked if he could use the restroom. When he was told that only paying customers could use the restroom, he pulled out a gun and pointed it at the employees.
The robber then demanded the employees to get on the ground, and to give him the money from the register and safe.
He was described as a black male, between 16 and 17 years old, with a thin build. He was wearing an olive green jacket with a gray shirt underneath.
If anyone has any information about the incident, they should call the Monroe Police Department immediately.
