Charlotte's Queen's Feast Restaurant Week is in full swing. Over 100 restaurants are participating this year. In most cases you can get a three course meal for $30. It lasts through January 27th. But I found there are ways to save year-round!
First of all, if you want to have a meal out, consider lunch. In many cases you'll get the same meal that is served at night for a fraction of the cost.
Think about registering on Opentable.com . The reservation web site will give you points every time you make a reservation through the site, ultimately if you earn enough points, you'll get $20 off your next meal.
If you like a restaurant, really "like" them, on Facebook. And follow them on twitter. Many restaurants will send you alerts for special offers for their online customers only.
And order wisely. Consider your options. Tonight you're craving pizza. Before you order do the math. Would ordering two mediums instead of a large pizza be less expensive? Maybe you can split an entree with a friend, or even order an appetizer for your meal.
Check out restaurant.com . The web site will let you purchase gift cards to restaurants at a discounted rate. In some cases you can get a twenty dollar gift card for as little as 10 bucks!
