CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Some animals native to North Carolina sleep through the winter. Others escape it. Others deal with it.

The staff at the North Carolina Zoo visited the WBTV News Saturday Morning show to show us how a rat snake, a box turtle, and an African hedgehog make their way through the coldest time of year.
