One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>

The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend always brings some of the largest crowds NC ski resorts will see all season, but add a coat of fresh snow and you have a recipe for a rousing success.
"I think we're going to have great conditions, all of our lifts open, almost all of our slopes open. And I think a lot of people coming up to enjoy some beautiful scenery and great skiing," said Brad Moretz, General Manager of Appalachian Ski Mountain.
We found people already hitting the slopes early Friday morning, including a man who just drove up for the afternoon to take advantage of the fresh snow before it freezes.
"Blue skies and fresh snow, it doesn't get any better than this," said Glenn Deal.
