CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - WBTV is following a traffic alert for you in South Charlotte. Duke Energy crews are on the scene of a crash that took down some power lines, closing one lane in each direction on Randolph Road.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say at least one vehicle struck a utility pole around midnight Thursday at Randolph Road, near Sardis Road. At least one person was hurt in the crash.
At this hour, the inbound lanes of the 5,100-5,200 block of Randolph Road are closed between Rembrandt Circle and Meadowood Lane.
