The Watauga County Sheriff's Office arrested a Banner Elk man accused of illegally tattooing a teen.
Deputies received a report about the tattooing on January 9. The report stated a person younger than 18 years of age received two tattoos from a person not licensed to tattoo.
34-year-old Jamie Presnell of Wiley Harmon Road in Banner Elk was arrested and given a $500 secured bond.
Presnell is charged with one count Tattooing a Person Under the Age of 18 and one count of Failure to Comply with Tattoo Regulations.
