The Union County Sheriff's Office arrested a 17-year-old Unionville teen after investigators said he sexually assaulted children.
Aaron Honeycutt was arrested Monday. Officers charged the teen with first degree rape. Honeycutt is accused of assaulting two children, a boy and girl, who are under the age of seven.
Honeycutt is in custody at the Union County Jail under a $250,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear in court to face the numerous sex crime charges on February 18.
On February 18, his case was continued until May 7.
Union County Deputy Sheriff Ben Bailey said his office is continuing to investigate if there has been a history of abuse involving Honeycutt and the children.
