CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -
A man was arrested after telling two people at Charlotte Douglas International Airport that he had a bomb in his luggage, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
The incident happened Saturday, January 12, around 8 p.m.
Felipe Moraga Martin, 24, was a passenger on a US Airways flight that was in the process of boarding.
CMPD said Martin was asked twice about the contents of his carry-on luggage. Both times he said he was in possession of a bomb.
Martin was arrested and charged with a felony false bomb report at a public building.
He was taken to jail and placed under a $2,000 secured bond.
