A local school is educating students and the school community in an effort to prevent violence and bullying.

Ann Brandon, a representative from the Women's Crisis Center in Northern Kentucky and certified instructor from the 'Live the Green Dot' program, visited St. Ursula Academy on Friday.

She offered strategies on how to prevent bullying, including the 'bystander approach', a movement led by students and young people which suggest stopping violence can be socially motivated.
