Lincoln County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigators raided a home on Hagers Ferry Road Wednesday night, where they discovered an indoor marijuana grow operation and processed marijuana, deputies said.

Officers went to the residence of Bryan Edward Lanning, 43, after receiving a tip about the grow operation set up in the residence.

Eight marijuana plants were in the grow operation and other miscellaneous marijuana plants were discovered in the home.  The total weight of the marijuana was more than 65 ounces with a street value of approximately $7,900, deputies said.

He was also charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia and four misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

He was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $60,000 secured bond.
