Gastonia Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect in a shoplifting case.
A black female placed about 18 bottles of perfume into a bag at the ULTA Beauty store located on Cox Road on Nov. 16, and then exited the business without paying for the merchandise, according to a news release from the Gastonia Police Department.
The suspect was captured on surveillance video and is described as having long black hair, and was wearing pink sunglasses, a leopard print scarf, pink pants, black boots and a black jacket. The perfume is valued at a total of $2,000.
Anyone with information to identify the suspect is asked to call Detective Dave Wind at (704) 836-0071, or Crime Stoppers of Gaston County at (704) 861-8000.
Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
