Here's what caught Rob Williams' eye:

Calls began to pour into the Norfolk PD on Wednesday, on reports of a lion on the loose!

Police officials immediately called the Virginia Zoo to confirm that both of its lions were secure and accounted for.

Turns out that the "vicious lion" is a 3-year-old labradoodle! 

Charlie's owner, Daniel Painter, shaved the pup in order for him to play the part of an unofficial mascot for Old Dominion University.
