Police are looking for the suspect of a Shell gas station robbery in Northern Kentucky on Monday.
Authorities responded to a reported robbery at the Fort Wright Shell gas station, located at 1804 Dixie Highway at approximately 7:54 p.m.
According to the police report, a suspect walked up to the counter to buy candy from a female clerk. While she was making change for the purchase, the suspect reached over the counter and grabbed money out of her register.
Police say the clerk tried to stop him but was unable to do so. He then fled the store, running towards George Huser Drive.
Fort Wright Police and other local agencies on scene searched the area but were unable to locate him.
No one was injured in the incident, and the man did not show a weapon during the robbery, according to authorities.
Officer describe the suspect as a while male, around 6' tall with a medium build and say he is possibly in his mid 30's. He was wearing black jeans, tan boots, a gray jacket, a white T-shirt and a green and tan baseball hat.
