Gastonia Police are asking for the public's help to identify two suspects in a case of larceny and assault.

Investigators say on January first, a white male ran out of the CVS Pharmacy, located at 2580 Court Drive in Gastonia, with a variety of stolen merchandise.

Police said the suspect got into a vehicle while a store employee chased after him. The suspect vehicle hit the store employee who traveled about 300 feet on the hood of the car until he was thrown off.

The male suspect is described as having a small build, 6-foot-1, 140 pounds, with blue eyes and sandy hair. The suspect vehicle is described as a 1995 gray Ford passenger car. A white female suspect was driving the car.

Images of the male suspect and suspect vehicle were captured on surveillance video. The images are attached to this story.

Anyone with information to help solve the case is asked to call Heather Houser, or Crime Stoppers of Gaston County at (704) 861-8000. Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
