Lancaster County deputies are asking for the public's help
solving a weekend armed robbery.
Deputies were called to The Speedee Mart on Pageland Highway
early Sunday morning.
The store was closed, but a 45-year-old man was at the store
delivering papers. He told investigators he stocked the paper box then went to
the dumpster to get rid of the trash.
The man told deputies while he was doing so, two males
wearing dark clothing approached him and ordered him to the ground at gunpoint.
The gunmen stole the man's money and wallet before fleeing
in an older model green car.
No one was hurt.
