A 10-year-old boy was flown to the hospital on Friday night after a crash in Clearcreek Township.
Authorities say a GMC Suburban was headed southbound on State Route 48 in the area of Stonecreek Boulevard, when a Mini Cooper pulled out in front of the Suburban, failing to yield.
The 10-year-old and his father, Paul Kessler, were traveling in the Mini Cooper.
Kessler was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for non life-threatening injuries and then released. His son had to be extracted from the car and was taken by helicopter to Dayton Children's Hospital.
The driver of the Suburban was not injured. An infant was also in the GMC, and was taken to Sycamore Medical Hospital in Dayton.
