School bus rear-ended while dropping off students

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A school bus was rear-ended Thursday while taking West Charlotte High School students home, officials say.

The accident occurred near the intersection of Beatties Ford Road and LaSalle Street around 2:30 p.m.

There were 24 students on board bus number 817 when a pickup truck ran into it.

No injuries were reported.
