Hundreds of fake cell phone cases were found Wednesday at a home in Tega Cay.
Detectives with the York County Sheriff's office seized 272 counterfeit Otter Box Defender Series cell phone cases, 11 counterfeit Mophine Juice Pack Plus cell phone cases and 72 other counterfeit cell phone accessories.
The value of the items is valued is approximately $15,000, according to a news release from the York County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect in the case is 16 years old and his name will not be release because he is a juvenile. The counterfeit cell phone cases were seized from a home.
The seizure stemmed from an ongoing investigation in counterfeit goods being sold in the York County area. York County Sheriff's Detectives along with fraud investigators with Otter Box discovered the cell phone cases being sold on the web site "Craig's List".
Investigators set up an undercover buy that took place at a location off Carowinds Boulevard in Fort Mill. From there the suspect cooperated with detectives and took him to his home where the majority of the counterfeit goods were located.
No charges have been filed at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
