Police: Man robbed store of drugs using note

Police are investigating a prescription drug robbery at a local store, according to the Boone Police Department.

The robbery happened Thursday, January 2, just after 2 p.m. at the Rite-Aid drugstore at the Shops at Shadowline.

A man entered the store and presented a note that demanded prescription drugs, then left the store on foot, police said.

The man is described as a white male, over 6 feet tall, with a medium/large build, fair complexion with bushy, dark eyebrows. He was wearing a gray hoodie, black bandana, black jacket, and a black toboggan.
