One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>

Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones tells News Leader 9 that 29-year-old Legary Antley Jr., of Columbus died after being crushed by a dump truck.
Sheriff Jones says the man was underneath the vehicle when the body of the dump truck fell on top of him. It's believed the hydraulics of the lift failed.
The incident happened just after 4 p.m. Monday off Summerville Road on Lee Road 315 in North Phenix City.
Neighbors who live near the scene of the accident were shaken by the deadly incident.
Antley suffered massive crushing chest injuries and was killed instantly. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident.
