McDonald's in Rock Hill destroyed by fire

Firefighters in Rock Hill remain on the scene of a fire that destroyed a McDonald's restaurant. 

The fire started around 3:30 a.m. Thursday on E. Main Street, near Food Lion, according to the Rock Hill Fire Department. No injuries have been reported.

It took firefighters about two hours to put out the flames and hot spots. There is no word yet on how it started.

All roads around the McDonald's are now open after being closed for much of the morning.
