Charlotte, NC (WBTV) - The Charlotte 49ers lost their non-conference showdown with Florida State of the ACC 79-76 Saturday afternoon at Time Warner Cable Arena.
The 49ers of the Atlantic 10 fell to 11-2 on the season with both of their losses coming to teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference, Miami and now the Seminoles.
Chris Braswell led Charlotte with 20 points. The Niners trailed by as many as nine in the second half but came back and Ivan Benkovic missed a three pointer at the buzzer that could have sent the game to overtime.
