At least one Las Vegas gun store is overwhelmed by customers one week after the elementary school shooting in Newtown, CT.
David Famiglietti from New Frontier Armory on East Centennial Parkway sent in several photos of Friday morning crowds and sent a message to FOX5 stating, "There is a line out our store door and down the sidewalk to buy guns! Our phones are ringing off the hook and our staff is overwhelmed!"
The crowd comes on the heels of pledges by lawmakers to review gun control policy. President Obama has urged tighter federal gun laws. Other lawmakers have suggested it should be easier for teachers to have guns in schools.
On Friday morning, National Rifle Association (NRA) Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre called for an armed officer at every school.
"The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun," Lapierre said.
