Mt. Holly Police are investigating an incident where a Gaston County school bus was shot at with a BB gun.
The shooting happened Wednesday afternoon around 4 p.m. in Stone River Parkway area of Gaston County, police said.
Authorities say bus number 77, which serves East Gaston High and Mt. Holly Middle Schools, had a window shot out by two children who were in the woods of the Parkway Subdivision with the BB gun when the bus got there.
The children, police say, were 11 and 13 years old. Both were interviewed and turned over to their parents by Mt. Holly Police.
No one was injured, and authorities contacted all parents who had a student on the bus.
