WBTV First Night Charlotte is just around the corner!
And that means it's time to start buying wristbands. If you buy them in advance, you don't have to worry about lines at First Night.
Whether it's early or day-of, make sure you get your wristband "ticket" to Uptown Charlotte's cultural event of the year.
First Night is an alcohol-free community celebration now celebrated in more than 200 cities worldwide.
First Night wristbands for adults and children are on sale now at the Visitor Information Center at the corner of S. Tryon and MLK Junior Boulevard.
The Visitor's Center hours are as follows:
Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
New Year's Eve 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Adult wristbands are $10, wristbands for children ages 5-12 are $5 with a banded adult, and children age 4 or younger are FREE with a banded adult.
If you would rather wait to purchase wristbands until the day of First Night Charlotte, you can buy your wristbands on the event site starting at 11am on New Year's Eve.
Wristband tents will be located on the upper tier of The Green, by NASCAR Hall of Fame next to the WBT Holiday on Ice Rink, the Outdoor Terrace at the Charlotte Convention Center and the Wells Fargo Atrium outside the front doors.
Wristbands are available at on-site stands from 11am-4:00pm and 6-10:00pm.
