Students To Wear Yellow Ribbons Today

Students at Independence High School in east Charlotte will be wearing yellow ribbons today in remembrance of fellow classmate Kayla Campbell.  The body of the 16 year old was found in a pond in Mint Hill yesterday.   Cam Man Ron Lee will be live with more details as well as the latest on the investigation.

A very interesting end to an amber alert in North Carolina.  Authorities were looking for a mother and child...you may be surprised to hear where they were found...and who found them!

Police are looking for the person who stole a van and crashed it into two different houses in west Charlotte.
