Public asked to help ID armed robbers

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Robbery Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are asking for the public's assistance in identifying two people involved in an armed robbery at a local business.

On Tuesday, December 11, two men went in to Mike's Auto Sales of Charlotte on Wilkinson Boulevard. The duo demanded money from the victims while holding a firearm. The men then left the business in an unknown direction, police said.

 The victims were not injured during the robbery.        

The first man is described as a medium-skinned black male, approximately 5'5"-5'8", with a large muscular build. He was last seen wearing a tan-brown coat with a sweatshirt underneath, and tennis shoes.

 The second man is described as a medium-skinned black male, approximately 5'10"-6'1", thin build, with a thin mustache and dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with a hood, light colored blue jeans, and tennis shoes.

Both suspects are believed to be 25-35 years of age.
