See, Click, Fix: Changes Made To Eyesore

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Changes have been made to an eyesore in south Charlotte following a See, Click, Fix story.

I first told you about this problem at the site of the old Carousel Club along South Boulevard awhile back.

The place was empty and up for sale.

A viewer wrote See, Click, Fix and said the place was a dump, telling us how the property was being over-taken by weeds.

They were everywhere.  The front.  The back.  Along the side.

Even at the bus stop out front weeds were taking over the sign post.

Not only that, a couple of over-flowing trash cans had been left out front.

But I am glad to report now that the problem has been See, Click, FIXED.

A new business moved into the property and improvements were made.

No more trash cans out front.

Planters that were full of weeds have been cleaned out.

The weeds that were overtaking the parking lot and sidewalks have been cleared out...except for one lone weed I found in the concrete barrier of a parking space.

But otherwise a totally different look and much better than it was before.

Kudos to Charlotte's Code Enforcement Division which looked into this issue right after I contacted them about the problem.

And give credit to the tenants of the building for keeping up the property.
