FBI now searching for missing girl

Hello again everyone, it's Paul Cameron in the WBTV newsroom.

Tonight at 5:00PM—the FBI is now involved in the search for a missing teen girl from Mint Hill.  Kayla Campbell was last seen on Sunday.  Her bike and cell phone were found near a pond about a mile from her home.  Today, the search intensified.  Our reporter, Coleen Harry will have the latest.

Meteorologist Kelly Franson says we're a week away from possibly seeing snow in the Charlotte area.  Right now, the 7-day forecast has rain turning to snow around the I-40 corridor next Tuesday.

There's a new plan to widen parts of I-85 through Cabarrus and Rowan Counties and change some intersections.  Those plans have some homeowners worried they might wind up losing their property.

A big decision for the Charlotte Mecklenburg School board tonight—they will choose a new chairperson.  Education reporter Dedrick Russell is at tonight's meeting.
