Some people hoping to log in for a quick email check on Monday morning may have come across an issue, after Gmail appeared to crash briefly.
People on Twitter logged on to complain that their e-mail program wasn't connecting.
According to CNET.com, it appeared that both the consumer version for "gmail.com" accounts were not working, as well as corporate e-mail systems that use Gmail as their e-mail platform.
It's not clear what might have caused the outage, but it appeared to be quite widespread.
There were reports of some people getting access after about five to ten minutes after the outage, but some users appear to still be having login issues.
Google has not released any information about the crash.
