Detectives have arrested a rape suspect who they consider dangerous.
Friday afternoon, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said 45-year-old Gary Michael McNabb of Lincolnton was on the run. He has a background in martial arts and investigators considered him dangerous.
Detectives say McNabb is anti-government and has stated he will not be taken by police.
But just before 5 p.m. Friday, detectives arrested McNabb on the CSX Railroad tracks near his home in Crouse.
McNabb is charged with Incest and First Degree Rape. Detectives say the charges stem from an incident on May 16.
