Officers arrested three men in connection with two robberies in northwest Charlotte Tuesday.
One of the men has ties to the shooting involving Waka Flocka Flame in February 2011.
The first robbery was called in to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police at about 10:18 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers responded to the 3800 block of Brookshire Boulevard where the victim said he met the suspects the day before, and had set up a meeting.
The victim said the suspects took him from the meeting spot to another location, where he was robbed at gunpoint.
Police said information and evidence gathered during the investigation implicated Antonio Stukes and Walter Boyd as suspects.
A little more than an hour after the first call came in Tuesday, officers responded to a second call for service in the 3100 block of Southwest Boulevard.
The victim said a suspect knocked on the door and showed a gun. The victim said the suspects then entered the home and took several items.
During the investigation, the victim provided detectives with a nickname of the suspect. Police identified Antonio Stukes in the second case as well.
Stukes was one of six men arrested in the 2011 east Charlotte shootout when Waka Flocka Flame was in town. Read more here.
