CPR for Life matches myCNAjobs scholarship program, an opportunity for up and coming nursing professionals in the Oakland California area.

CPR for Life, a leading educator in nursing and healthcare based in California, is pleased to announce a CNA scholarship match to the recently launched myCNAjobs scholarship program.
The CNA scholarship targeted for students currently pursuing a certified nursing assistant degree with plans to enroll within 60-days of the application deadline date. Distributed four times throughout the year, each scholarship award is $250 paid by myCNAjobs coupled with a match of $250 by select accredited CNA schools across the country.
The deadlines for applying for the program, requiring a brief essay are as follows:
January 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due December 31
March 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due February 28
June 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due May 31
October 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due September 30
“For students in the Greater Oakland area planning to attend CPR for Life, we’ll double the scholarship award to $500.” says Veronica Taylor-Henry, Director of CPR for Life. “We’re happy to extend this program to our local community and partner with myCNAjobs,” Taylor-Henry adds.
To apply, students must plan on enrolling within 60 days of the submission due date and submit a short essay outlining motivations for entering and growing in the profession.
