Davidson, NC (WBTV)- The Charlotte 49ers went into a hostile environment and came away with win number eight of the season as they beat Davidson for the Hornets Nest Trophy 73-69. The game was played in front of a full house that had all the atmophere of an NCAA tournament game. It went back and forth with the Niners prevailing thanks to the play of Pierre Henry down the stretch and the Niners improved to 8-0 while the Wildcats dropped to 4-4.
