Modern Life Media aims to deliver compelling and relevent cross-platform content to women by launching food website, ModernSkillet.com.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) December 03, 2012
Modern Life Media, a new digital media company creating cross-platform content targeted to women, has launched their first online destination, ModernSkillet.com. The site targets busy moms, uber foodies and novice, home cooks.
Modern Skillet publishes original content on recipes, menu planning, events and holidays. “The Chef’s Table” highlights buzz-worthy chefs, restaurant reviews and breaking news in the culinary world. And “Breaking Bites” provides pithier content on culinary events and news.
The site also features longtime online sports writer, published author and uber foodie, Rob Jaskula who will bring a male voice to the readers and a masculine perspective to the kitchen with his light-hearted look at food on “The Food Buzz.”
The site offers users a simple way to save and print recipes, and all content on the site is shareable via social platforms.
“What differentiates Modern Skillet from other online food sites is the combination of content for those who love to cook and content for those who love to keep up with the culinary world,” says Founder and Editorial Director, Lyssa Myska Allen.
“The site is very clean and user-friendly, it’s not weighed down by too much content and confusing functionality," says Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Modern Life Media, Julie Springer-Holmes.
Modern Life Media founders have launched other successful sites in the past including style site, EndlessBeauty.com; lifestyle site, DailyHap.com and Austin-based news site, AustinPost.org.
