Emergency crews are treating at least one person for serious injuries after a crash along a major Charlotte interstate, which caused major back-ups.
According to officials, the crash happened along Interstate 485 near mile marker 64 around 5:11 p.m.
MEDIC says they are treating at least one person with serious injuries in the crash. That person was being taken to Carolinas Medical Center-Main in Charlotte.
The accident caused major congestion and back-up in the area, that was not expected to clear up until after 7 p.m. Friday night.
