Deputies in York County are investigating who stole 39 vases from a cemetery in York earlier in the week.
The first 18 vases went missing from the Lakeview Memory Garden on the 1700 block of Filbert Highway in York, according to the reports from the York County Sheriff's Office.
A cemetery employee told deputies that the bronze markers were missing from a section in the back of the cemetery on Wednesday.
On Thursday, more vases were reported missing from another section of the cemetery overnight.
The vases were valued at $300 each for a total stolen property value of $11,700.
