Rock Hill Police along with the Winthrop University Police are investigating a suspicious box found on campus, according to CN2.
The box, which is duct taped to birdbath outside Tillman Hall, was reported to Winthrop Police by a female student around 2 p.m., CN2 reports.
No evacuation of buildings has been ordered, but campus community members were asked to avoid the area and to stay away from windows in adjacent buildings.
A 3 p.m., the two departments were examining the box to determine its contents.
