One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.More >>

The Arizona Department of Transportation closed part of Interstate 17 overnight while they inspected the Jefferson Street bridge for potential damage caused by a truck Monday.
ADOT diverted traffic from I-17 southbound to I-10 westbound, they also closed the eastbound and westbound I-10 ramps onto southbound I-17. Traffic was still able to travel northbound on I-17 and Jefferson Street while the inspection was being performed.
ADOT was able to have all routes of traffic open in time for the morning rush hours.
This is the second time in less than two months that the Jefferson Street bridge had damaged caused from passing trucks.
The first time was on Oct. 4 when a truck damaged several of the concrete girders. The damage had closed the left lane on the one-way eastbound Jefferson Street bridge and the left lane along the southbound I-17 Jefferson Street exit ramp. ADOT completed the necessary repairs and reopened the bridge.
