Deputies in Lancaster County are investigating a fatal shooting that left one person dead.
The incident was reported around 1 p.m. Monday afternoon, according to a news release from the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrived at Springs Memorial Hospital to find a patient suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Gaeric Q. Johnson, 23, was pronounced dead at the hospital. An acquaintance brought him to the hospital.
At this point it is believed that the victim went to a residence on Cedar Pine Lake Rd. in Lancaster where the incident took place. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots from the residence and observing two vehicles leave the area.
Jeffrey Lanard Roseborough, 30, was arrested and charged with Johnson's murder.
Deputies say Roseborough and Johnson were in a relationship with the same woman which may have led to the shooting.
