Fire officials in Charlotte are investigating a fire from Thursday night they say was intentionally set.
Firefighters responded to the 4500 block of Sampson Street Thursday night to a call of an explosion inside a home.
No injuries were reported. No one was home at the time of the fire, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
The fire marshal's office is investigating the fire as an arson case.
Damage is estimated at $60,000.
