Breaking: One dead, one injured in north Charlotte shooting

This is Christine Nelson in the WBTV Newsroom with your morning email alert for this Friday, November 16. I went over the rundown and wanted to tell you about a few of the stories you'll want to get caught up on when you turn on WBTV News This Morning. We're on from 4:30-7:00 a.m.

Breaking: Violence in north Charlotte leaves one person dead. Our Cam Man Ron Lee got to the scene immediately after hearing it on the scanners. The investigation called for a police chopper and search dogs. Ron is buttoning up his report right now to give you all the details live.

Today is the big day. In a matter of hours General David Petraeus will testify before Congress about the Bengazi attack. Plus, some of his former mistress' people were spotted in the Queen City. A man and woman went to Paula Broadwell's Dilworth home and we tracked down info on who one of them is. Plus, we get a definitive answer on whether Broadwell had classified information on her computer.

Also, it could be someone's father, grandfather, brother...and right now he is missing. We have details on the Silver Alert Stanly County police issued to find a missing 68-year-old man.

It's is cold. (Freezing in my book!) What weather issues will you have to be concerned about this morning? Meteorologist Al Conklin has the most reliable forecast in the market. Plus, Tonya Riven will have the latest on the commute. They will be on every 10 minutes with updates!

See you on the air!

Christine
