KANNAPOLIS, NC (WBTV) -

The Kannapolis Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating men they believe to be responsible for committing a series of robberies in the City of Kannapolis and surrounding areas.

On November 09, just after 11 p.m., three males entered the Wilco Hess on S. Cannon Blvd and robbed the two clerks at gun point, police say.

One man is described as a black male, wearing a toboggan, dark jacket with white sleeves and a Chrysler emblem on the back. He also has some type of facial hair, possibly a goatee.

The other two men had their faces concealed. One was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, a full faced toboggan, and gloves. The third was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a dark colored ball cap and gloves, the report states.

Approximately one hour later, a robbery occurred at the Kangaroo Express on Main Street in China Grove. The robbers described in this robbery closely matched the description provided by the clerks at the Wilco Hess, police told WBTV.

Then, on November 14, just after midnight, the Ruscho located on N. Cannon Boulevard was robbed at gun point. The description provided by the clerk of one of the men was a male wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt over a full faced toboggan and gloves. The second was described as wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a medical mask over his face and gloves.

In all three robberies a shotgun was held by one of the men.

The suspected trio may be traveling in a white Saturn sedan with black or dark colored front and rear bumpers. Both agencies are working together to confirm if the events which occurred in Kannapolis and in China Grove were committed by the same group, police said.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, or the suspects' location is asked to call Kannapolis Police at (704)920-4000, or Crimestoppers at (704)932-7463.

A reward is available for anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) in this case.

You can also post or direct message the agency on one of their social media sites, @kannapolis911 on Twitter, or Kannapolis911 on Facebook.
